It’s obviously a foregone conclusion that I will win the much sought after ‘Best Newcomer‘ award at the Irish Blog Awards, and like Twenty, Grandad et al, I expect a multi million Euro book deal to follow swiftly afterwards.

And then there’ll be no fucking stopping me.

Seriously though, thanks a million to anyone who nominated this piece of shite blog for an award, and congratulations also to regular posters on here like Rosie, Manuel, Sinead, Fakey, etc etc who’ve been nominated themselves. And anyone else I’ve missed. Red got one for Best Music, I think, and she should win hands down if there’s any justice. Rapture Ponies too, and KC.

Anyone who’s been nominated but doesn’t comment here can ask me bollix.

Good job I only got into one category though, or none of yis would win anything.
