Stupid Minister Speaks Sense For Once

Brian Lenihan, Uncle Fester lookalike and current Minister of Finance, has come out today and told us all that we should ‘Stop whingeing over prices and get on with things‘.

So.

Now yis know what to do when some fucker tries to charge you 80 quid to fill up brand new 08 reg 4X4, or you can’t afford to buy a €9 Pannini in the airport before your annual skiing trip or your 12 year old daughter needs a new pair of designer sunglasses to match her new I-Pod.

Just don’t buy it.

Personally, I’m with Lenihan on this one. Shut up yis moan bags. We’re all in the same boat.

  1. Except the petit-bourgoisie. Them mothers is raking in the mad cash.

  2. Tom Waits is 100euro more here than in Prague.

  3. and christ you’re right he does like uncle fester.

  4. I agree we should stop whinging. And riot. Slash some tyres on a few government 4×4s and loot Berties gaff (with specific attention to the matress and other traditional hiding places for lurvely dosherooni). The we should smash up every Tesco we can find and set fire to Dundrum shopping center.

  5. I have no confidence in Brian Lenihan. The economy has very serious problems. And all he is concerned about is improving confidence levels. This means that we need to go back to fooling ourselves into believing that house prices always go up, that jobs don’t get outsourced, and that Bertie Ahern putting his mates in state jobs is in the best long term interest of the country.
Absolute nonsense. I don’t care who the Minister for Finance looks like. It is the quality of his thinking that is of concern. And it is abysmal. He also has a work ethic prroblem – or put it like this – he is lazy. He is a spoofer. We have a economic and financial crisis. And a lawyer is responsible for fixing it. That is worse than asking a plumber to fix a car. Or asking a mechanic to rewire a house. Brian Lenihan is trained in the wrong area. He has lived of the state for most of his life. His family have lived of the state for decades. And now he has to cut back on state excesses and allow the private sector to hold it’s jobs. Absolutely and completely absurd.
Lastly we already have too many alcholics in charge of the country.
