The Slate

slate3.jpg

Ah the good old days of Ireland before the Celtic Tiger. Relive your drunken college days by reading some of the shittest journalism of all time, and laughing your hole off while you do it.

The Slate became notorious tabloid fodder in the early years of this decade, due to being misinterpreted by every ham fisted red-top journalist in the country and was on various occasions accused of being racist, sexist, pro-peadophile, anti GardaĆ and being the chief instigator behind the May Day riots, when those very same GardaĆ bludgeoned 15 crusties to death on Dame St in Dublin. Or something.

It also hated that cunt Michael MacDowall, which should make it ok in everyone’s book.

Anyway, it was free, and it was great, and it is sorely missed. Nowadays all we have is Mongrel. And that’s not even funny.

And seeing as I was lucky enough to get to go and watch shite films for The Slate and report on them as badly as possible, I still have a few lying around my bedroom. So here they are.

Here’s the first scan.

Next issue is thisaway!

And another one here!!

And here too!

And guess what? HERE!!!!

  2. Do you know what it is? it’s fucking photobucket. I scanned them all onto my folks PC today – i don’t have a scanner – and instead of sending a few massive emails to myself with the scans as attachments, I uploaded them to photobucket, and saved them from there onto my laptop. Now they’re too fecking small to read.

I’l sort it out tomorrow or something.
