One year on from the terrorist attacks in New York, the boys and girls at the Slate decided to really go for tabloid notoriety with this eye-catching little cover.
Funny thing is, it’s relevant today with the current uproar over poet Cathal Ó Searcaigh’s trial by media for bumming 16 year olds in Nepal. Especially the comments by Senator David Norris in the main article, below.
As well as that, there’s the usual shit about Shane Lynch, the Corrs, Gerry Ryan and Louis Walsh who were getting on everyone’s tits at the time.
Nothing much has changed there then.
